Don’t Be Afraid to Play with Color

For a long time, I played it safe, reaching for the familiar pieces in my closet: mostly black, always reliable. But quietly, I was drawn to more defined, expressive looks. What I didn’t realize at the time was that what I loved most was simply the play, the layering of color, tone, and feeling.

I still adore a monochromatic moment. A crisp white shirt paired with silky black trousers or a skirt is my go-to for evening, it’s timeless and polished. But there’s something deeply joyful about bringing color into your wardrobe.

If you’re unsure where to begin, take cues from nature. Look at a garden: purples and greens, earthy browns with soft blues, whites alongside vivid greens, it all works beautifully. Nature never overthinks it.

When I was selecting tones for our first collection, I wanted colors that felt calm, grounded, and easy to blend into an everyday wardrobe. Shades you could reach for without hesitation — and wear with confidence.

So yes, play with color. It’s simple. It’s freeing. And above all, it’s fun.
