I found these fabrics myself, at Nona Source in Paris, deadstock cotton poplin from the ateliers of Louis Vuitton Maisons. I chose colors I knew would sit in a wardrobe for years, not one season, white, soft blue, the softest grey, a hint of pink. Blue is still my favorite. Which specific house wove each fabric stays part of the story, that's the small mystery of it. What I do know: when it’s gone, it’s gone for good.
